IT Peace of Mind

Digital maintenance studio from Berlin.

Your tools in order.
Your mind at peace.

We help small businesses and organizations keep their websites running smoothly.
Seeing the whole ecosystem and supporting you, not just with the code.

👋 Hello there!
Is your website in need of care?

I’m launching a web maintenance service that can help you — I’m offering peace of mind by taking regularly care of your websites and your tech tools.

‎ ‎This service is designed for you if: ‎
  • Your website needs ongoing attention but you don’t have time for it or technical expertise
  • You value clear and transparent communication and want to understand what’s happening with your site
  • You need consistent, reliable maintenance rather than emergency fixes
  • You prefer working with someone who takes a thoughtful, holistic approach to technology

Onboarding steps

1. Discovery Conversation
Everything starts with a chat: we’ll have a conversation to understand your website, your needs & intentions about it, and any current frictions or pain points you’re experiencing.

2. Website Health Assessment
Then, I will have a look and analyze your current setup: see what is already working well, (yes! we focus also on what is working well), then search for issues and identify opportunities for improvement. Out of this, it will naturally emerge an understanding of what regular maintenance could look like specifically for your needs.

3. Custom Maintenance Plan
Together we review a tailored maintenance plan that fits your needs and budget, with clear expectations about what gets done and when.

4. Ongoing Partnership
Your website receives regular, proactive care with transparent reporting, so you can relax knowing your digital presence is in good hands, and be able to focus better on the very core of your business.

Who is behind IT Peace of Mind?

I’m Othmane Moustaouda and I created IT Peace of Mind from something dear to me: to bring a warm and human touch back to technology.

My background

Coming from a decade working as a software developer and technologist (see website↗), I’ve seen how technology can monopolize attention, and be a source of stress while running your business.

Too often, we get hooked into tools rather than focusing on the purpose they’re meant to serve.

It doesn’t need to be like that, you don’t need to be dissipating precious energies that could be otherwise used for what truly matters (where you are good at, with your skills and creativity, cultivating your business).

I started this practice to change that relationship, and empower small businesses to thrive, harnessing the power of meaningful technology.

How I do it?

My approach combines tech skills and understanding of communication dynamics.
I listen deeply to your needs, map together the tech and communication ecosytem of your organization, and understand together:
– which parts give most frictions
– which parts work good
We’ll then work on amplifying what works well, and understand how to work on smoothening the frictions, to give you more time to care for your business and more stability and resilience for your systems.

If we match, I’ll allocate time monthly for you, to make sure your systems are running well and are well cared for.

Why including the communication ecosystem?

“Any organization that designs a system (defined broadly) will produce a design whose structure is a copy of the organization’s communication structure.” – Mel Conway

What makes my approach different is that I see your website and digital tools within your communication ecosystem (internal: how information flow within the team, and external: how information get in and out your organiation). The solutions that emerge from this understanding tend to be resilient solutions, grounded in the supporting structures of your organization.

If the need arise, I have a wider network of professionals ready to step in.

For projects requiring additional perspectives, I collaborate with trusted professionals from Imago.Space ↗ and Beehive Network (an informal and closely knit network of highly skilled professionals, based in Berlin).

I’ve been part of both networks for many years, and had the oppurtunity to cultivate many solid professional relations, that keep lasting over the years.

My skills

My background combines technical skills with experience in community-focused practices and regenerative systems (more about those coming soon).

I hold a bachelor degree in computer science,
and been working as freelancer software developer for more than a decade.

Did you already experience these challenges?

Whether you’re using WordPress, Drupal, or a custom solution, we are here to help you with these challenges.

1. Time & Cognitive Load

Do you have the mental space and time capacity to handle tech maintenance, on top of running your business?
Dealing with software updates, web hosting, backups, etc., can easily take a big chunk of your attention.

2. Decision Paralysis

Especially about tech-related decisions:
– “Do I need to switch hosting?”
– “Is this plugin safe to update?”
– “Should I migrate to a different CMS?”

Having someone that you trust to filter and guide these decisions can be a major relief.

3. Disconnected Solutions

Tech solutions often focus on flashy new tools rather than truly understanding the context, and the business needs.
It is common, over the years, to end up with a patchwork of systems that might need a lot of coordination from your side to work well together.

4. Misplaced Focus
(👀 often overlooked)

Sometimes, social technologies—like better communication or team rituals—are more effective than adding a new tool. Yet this gets overlooked.

5. The Language Barrier
(👀 also often overlooked)

Technical jargon can make understanding and maintaining your systems challending. It’s not easy to find someone who speaks both “tech” and “human.” If you already have that person taking care of your website, lucky you! Take great care of them ❤.

6. Finding a Reliable Partner

It’s not easy to find someone to consistently take care of your website and tech systems.

Many developers and engineers focus mostly on creating new software and projects, and in less in taking care of what is already existing.

The Peace of Mind approach
